Many of our clinical training courses include a competency assessment framework which, when completed back in the workplace can be used as evidence of an individuals’ competence.
This Anaphylaxis & Auto-Injectors clinical training course is suitable for any person who is involved in the administration of drugs and needs to be aware of the diagnosis and treatment of anaphylactic reactions.
This Anaphylaxis & Auto-Injectors awareness course covers anaphylactic reactions in both adults and children, the correct administration of adrenaline (epinephrine), drug incompatibilities, contraindications and enables participants to differentiate between anaphylactic reactions and panic attacks.
Please note: A competency framework is included in this training. Competency is achieved in the workplace following the training using a competency template. Each procedure needs to be signed off by a qualified, senior member of staff. The completed document can then be used to identify the individuals’ competence.

This Aseptic Technique training course is designed for community care and nursing staff. The training provides an understanding of the correct procedures to follow when performing aseptic techniques.

Basic Life Support training is mandatory for registered nurses and healthcare assistants but is beneficial to all. The syllabus follows the guidelines of the Resuscitation Council (UK) and includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and the DRABCD approach to resuscitation.
This Basic Observation training course has been designed for healthcare assistants who are looking to improve their medical skills and knowledge and will enable them to be employed within hospital environments.
Why, when and how observations are conducted, the normal range for each observation and how to record as well as action to be taken outside the range are also covered. A detailed and most invaluable course, observations covered include: temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, blood sugar levels, observations of specimens, neurological observations, and how to care for an unconscious patient.

This Blood Glucose Monitoring training course is aimed at those working with or responsible for testing blood glucose levels and monitoring the wellbeing of people with low (hypoglycaemia) and high (hyperglycaemia) blood glucose levels.
On completion of this Blood Glucose Monitoring training course participants will be able to identify the signs of irregular blood glucose levels, test patient’s levels of blood glucose and how to manage it effectively.

THIS DEFIBRILLATION AND AIRWAY MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WISH TO LEARN HOW TO USE AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (A.E.D.).

This Diabetes & Insulin training course caters for those working with or who are responsible for the welfare and wellbeing of people with diabetes, this includes healthcare professionals not specialising in diabetes.
This Diabetes & Insulin training course aims to teach attendees how to recognise the symptoms of diabetes, any signs of complications, to raise awareness of treatments and to build confidence in staff when supporting and caring for those suffering from diabetes.

The Flu Vaccination training course is suitable for registered nurses and experienced health care assistants working within primary care, and who have successfully completed the Influenza and Pneumococcal Vaccination for Health Care Assistants course.
Upon completion of the flu vaccination training course participants will have a sound understanding of seasonal influenza and vaccinations, the theoretical background of intermuscular injection techniques, the safety issues related to vaccination of the general adult population and the legal aspects of vaccination. During the session participants will demonstrate the safe administration of the vaccine using best practice techniques within the NMC guidelines, describe adverse reactions and methods to cope with such situations.

This training is designed to provide the theoretical knowledge base with practical demonstration for the trainees who wish to expand their range of practice to include Intramuscular (IM) Injections. This training looks at the administration of intramuscular injections and suggests a framework for best practice in acute and community care settings. Ensuring the use of a safe technique, as well as good clinical decision making. The training also highlights the importance of patient assessment, landmarking and the selection of injection site.
This IV Cannulation training course is designed for all registered nurses who have not conducted IV Cannulation for a while and are looking to update their theory and skill set.
The IV Cannulation training course provides the chance to practice the skill in a controlled environment. This is a hands-on training course and we encourage participation in all the practical demonstrations and activities. On successful completion students will be awarded a certificate of attendance and are required to gain competency under clinical supervision within their own workplace.
